Systems Thinking: The Systems Theory and the Endless Possibilities

    A System, according to Merriam-Webster.com, is a regularly interacting or interdependent group of items forming a unified whole. To expand upon that broad definition, it means that everything has a purpose to serve because it is a part of a bigger picture or something more than just itself. Our bodies are systems because many various functions and organs all coincide with each other to allow our bodies to function properly and efficiently. If something goes wrong inside of our bodies, or if we put something inside of our bodies that does not belong, we have measures that tell us something is wrong and that we need to take necessary precautions to get better. The same goes with a system in producing a TV show, music video, podcast, or movie. It all depends on a group of individuals working with equipment and machines and those pieces of equipment have to talk to each other and co-operate with the people operating them....
